This statue by Nigel Eden is in the car park of the complex including Tolgus Tin and was unveiled in 2001. It reperesents the discovery of the world's largest nugget of alluvial gold on 5-2-1869 by John Deason and Richard Oats. It was found near Dunolly, Victoria, Australia and weighed 71 kg. It was then worth £10,000 but would now be worth more than £1,000,000.
