Located at 99 High Street, extending into King Street, Derann were electrical retailers and film distributors. The shop ceased trading in September 2011. The owner decided to close the business for a combination of reasons, principally "the astronomical rising costs that the local council, insurance and utility companies continue to impose on small businesses." The spike on the right is not part of the building. It is the top of a church spire. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2968479
