As the description in Image] says, the rocks around here bear sapphires. They are not of gem grade, and they are mostly so tiny that they are really hard to find, otherwise they would probably have been worked commercially. The biggest crystal in this view is much less than a millimetre across - I couldn't find anything small enough to use as a scale.
