Newly resurfaced path near Steetley. Behind the high fence to the right of picture is the former Armstrong Quarry also known locally as the Blue Lagoon. An application for renewed limestone extraction has been submitted for the site which would presumably serve the nearby Cement Works. The path leading past this factory (beyond the temporary fencing on the left) was subject to a temporary closure order on the day I passed through.
