View of London Road at the junction which, as far as I'm concerned, is the heart of Abbeyhill. The road runs along the ridge, i.e. the hill, although historically the name covers the extensive area sloping southwards towards Holyrood Palace. The 'rows' of colony housing seen here really mark its northern boundary.
