Farmland in an area of high ground dominated by conifer plantations and the next generation of upland eyesore, a wind farm. To be fair, Whitelee, although the biggest array to date is pretty inoffensive. The real damage is done by cynically placing a small power station in the middle of a wild roadless area thus making future expansion easy. This has happened to the Lammermuir and Ochil Hills.
