It is easy to appreciate the benefit of a big screen, for those seated at the opposite end of the stadium to the stage. Here, during a Image], we see the lead singer, Chris Martin, onstage, dwarfed by his own image on the screen behind him. (Close scrutiny of the screen image will show that it is actually displayed back-to-front; this was a deliberate effect - it was one of several screens, some beaming images the correct way around and some reversed.)
