A corner of Balm Green behind the City Hall from near to the junction with Holly Lane, looking at the commencement of Orchard Lane and towards Leopold Street. This is the rear of offices previously used by the former Sheffield Education Authority. Before the LEA took over these premises (circa late 50s) it housed the Central Technical School (a vocationally-oriented secondary school), although a stone carved sign incorporated into the structure declares it to have been a "Science School". Present use unknown.
