Another view across the meadow shown in Image, looking to the left, more directly across the dry valley. The houses are on West Underleys. A thick patch of trees surrounds the field across the valley, together with clumps of trees within both it and the field above it. The notice in front of the camera has suffered because the initial words, presumably printed in red, have faded. It now reads "as cows with young calves do not like strangers with dogs on or off leads" but the gist is fairly clear. There is no right of way across the field, but dog walkers have doubtless used it as a shortcut to the green lane from which this was taken.
