View westward, towards Tonbridge and London/Redhill on the ex-SER London - Channel Ports main line, which was dead straight 26.5 miles Ashford - Tonbridge, then 20.5 miles on to Redhill. The 14.15 from Charing Cross is headed by Maunsell 'King Arthur' class 4-6-0 No. 30805 'Sir Constantine' (built 1/27, withdrawn 11/59).
