Located in Coronation Gardens. The bronze statue (1939) is the work of sculptor William James Bloye (1890-1975). http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1986277 to a closer view. Apollo is an Olympian deity in ancient Greek and Roman religion and mythology. Apollo is the son of Zeus and Leto. His twin sister is the huntress Artemis.
