Woolverstone Marina is set in 22 acres of parkland near Cathouse Point on the River Orwell, with the Cat House > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2961562 guarding its entrance. The marina offers 235 pontoon berths and 110 swinging moorings, an on-site caravan park and a sailing school. The adjoining boatyard has facilities for boat owners wanting to carry out repairs or maintenance work and there is storage for more than 250 boats, a 9.5 ton mobile crane, purpose-built lifting dock and a cradle hire. The building shown here houses the office and a chandeliers' shop.
