It is 4.22pm on a blazing hot day, May 25th 2012. Crowds have gathered here at the corner of Waterloo Road and Cardiff Road, (the western edge of Belle Vue Park) for the Olympic Torch relay, scheduled to descend Waterloo Road in a few minutes. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2961318 to the relay ascending Cardiff Road a few minutes later.
