The initials SCC (Somerset County Council) are on the pyramid-shaped top of the signpost at the junction http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2958976 of the B3133 and Wood Hill. There are two arms on the signpost. The top arm pointing south shows (figures are miles) Congresbury ¾ Weston(-super-Mare) 9¼. The bottom arm pointing SE shows Wrington 2½ Bristol 12. This looked wrong, because Bristol is north, not south, of here. The explanation is that the SE route to Wrington leads to the A38 heading NE towards Bristol.
