In the recent sewer replacement works, this site escaped my notice but it looks very like a smaller version of the storm water relief chamber installed in the Parade Image It releases surface water to the River Leam behind the camera. The bollards prevent vehicles from 'Clubland', right, and the Adelaide Road car park from encroaching on the riverside walk, left, which runs downstream to Prince's Drive. In the background is Riverside House, offices of Warwick District Council, my old employer.
