Is the Bingo craze still with us? It would seem so judging from the word appearing no fewer than three times in such a small space. The La Scala Electric Theatre opened in 1912 after the refurbishment of a theatre on the site, dating from 1862. In 1974, it became The Classic in a short-lived, last-gasp attempt to keep the projectors rolling.
