Viewed across St John's Wood Road. There has been a hostelry here since 1868 when the architect Edward Paraire, who specialised in pubs and chapels, designed a building, located within Lord's cricket ground. Amid controversy, his building was demolished nearly a century later, when the SW corner of Lord's was redeveloped. The Lord's Tavern seen here was built in 1967, next to the Grace Gate.
