Brendan’s Glove Garden is made up of two large sandstone seats that have been hand carved into the shape of boxing gloves by sculptor Saffron Waghorn. Brendan’s Glove Garden has been inspired by the work of Brendan Ingle who has done community work in Sheffield through his boxing gym. Brendan has a legendary status not only in Wincobank and Sheffield but the boxing world, making St. Thomas' a key community building. The boxing gloves provide a tribute to honour this work.
