View northwards, across the ex-GW main line Paddington - Reading etc. main line, and branch to Windsor Central. The main line is behind the prominent Slough Middle Box and the branch curves off here behind the engine, which is half on the turntable with the Locomotive Depot off to the left. The locomotive is Collett '8750' class 0-6-0 pannier-tank No. 3608 (built 2/39, withdrawn 6/65).
