To quote from the school web site: "Founded in 1859, John Betts is a non-denominational primary school for girls and boys aged rising five to eleven. It is voluntary aided by the John Betts Foundation under the aegis of the Hammersmith and Fulham Education Authority". At foundation, it was called Paddenswick Road Schools - see Image .
