Googling finds little info about this, which was apparently the village's old school. However a former pupil informs me that it was built around 1889, and served the community until the late 1970s, when it closed and the staff & pupils moved to Ysgol Bro Ddyfrdwy, just north of Image The last headmaster was Richard Evans. Since I took this photo in 2012, the building appears to have been demolished and replaced by a new house.
