On a grey autumn day diesel unit 144004 approaches Huddersfield station as the terminus of a local service from Leeds. Note the two colour signals in the foreground, and beyond that the tops of bridge girders between the tracks mark the location of Fitzwilliam Street below. The waste incinerator Image fades into the misty background.
