At the Newton Hall Open Day 2012. Following a three week dig, open days were held at the May Bank Holiday Weekend. Members of Colonel Edward Montagu's Regiment of Foote, who were camping overnight, were preparing a traditional vegetable stew Image whilst visitors enjoyed a modern-style picnic in the car park.
