Viewed from Sandwell & Dudley railway station. The next station ahead is Dudley Port, or Wolverhampton for trains not stopping at Dudley Port. The metal girder between the tracks is part of the bridge's structure. A distance marker on the left shows 5m 34ch, indicating a distance of 5 miles 34 chains from the marker at Birmingham New Street. A chain is 22 yards, or 20.1 metres.
