The garden of Fenton House always surprises visitors by its size, considering how built up Hampstead is. The guidebook describes "the garden's most charming feature - a sunken, walled oasis of orchard, glasshouse, culinary herb border, cut-flower beds and vegetables." Fenton House itself can just be seen left of centre beyond the trees.
