Cuilfail - The Road Up

A Gaelic road name in the heart of Sussex. The original owner of the land on the northern side of Chapel Hill was a solicitor who also owned land in Scotland from which he named this piece of land after. Since the Second World War this part of the hill has become a private estate whose houses command spectacular views over Lewes and the South Downs.
