The field gates are reached and I will be going through the left one but there is an electric line attached to the right one which I will have to cross one way or the other to get to the bridge at the bottom of the valley. Is the line live? Probably not but it's still in the way. Why hasn't it been attached to the signpost if there's any point to it at all? What an aggravation to find at the end of the Orange Way in Devon.
