This ford warning sign is on the south bank of the river and on the west side of a railway bridge on the dismantled Waverley Line. The ford is only likely to be used by farm vehicles. Interestingly this was originally a road unsafe sign but with the addition of a couple of letters it has been converted into a ford unsafe sign. For a view of the ford, see Image
