Blackboard placards adorn the walls outside the tavern providing details of famous visitors including Bill Clinton, Bob Hawke, Margaret Thatcher, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor and Thomas Hardy to name but a few. The tavern is advertised, on a direction sign, as being "An Education in Intoxication"!
