Located on the corner of Commercial Road and Library Lane, Taibach, Port Talbot. Now part of the Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council library service, the library was originally a Carnegie Free Library, built with money donated by Scottish-American businessman and philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. More than 2,500 Carnegie libraries were built worldwide, including 660 in Britain and Ireland. Taibach Library was Grade II listed in January 2000.
