New houses are springing up on the left, and the road between Monxton and Andover will doubtless be continuously lined with houses before long. The older semi-detached dormer bungalows on the right are on Sunnybank. Behind the new houses on the left and lined with trees, byway (Monxton BOAT 11) climbs Monxton Lane from the road. Taken from a passing train on the railway line between Andover and Grateley.
