This view from Mains Hill shows the school on the south side of the village nearing completion. New houses are being constructed to the left behind existing houses at Meigle Row. The new £6 million school opened on 16th April 2012 and replaced the small school at Caddonfoot that had been in use for 137 years. For a view of the old school, see Image
