Slateford Green is a car free urban complex of 16 properties (each comprising of 4 or more flats). The properties are maintained by the Dunedin Canmore Housing Association. There is access for cars and delivery vans, but that is controlled by a barrier, seen on the right hand side of the nearest building (which contains a community centre). The complex is built on what was once the Gorgie Station Coal Depot and sidings. The whole area has been redeveloped.
