An oblique view of a grandiose and singular late-Georgian terrace. The projecting end section has a Greek Doric porch and eight attached Ionic columns, while the central recessed section has a long Doric colonnade, above which runs a continuous balcony. This all dates from the 1830s/1840s, built to the designs of an unknown hand. Grade II* listed. The listing records the architect as John Foster junior but this is not corroborated by other respected sources so I have my doubts.
