The chapel is at the eastern edge of the town centre. It opened in 1862. Grade II listed in January 1989. This view was taken in late March 2012, a few weeks after the chapel underwent a £20,000 internal facelift. The golden appearance of the exterior seen here can be attributed to illumination by the rays of the setting sun.
