Hackwood Park

Hackwood Park is an up-market housing estate established in the 1980s in the grounds of the old Hackwood House. The estate is built on a steep hillside above the centre of Hexham and is served by a sinuous road whose only exit is at the top of the estate into Juniper Road. Seen here is an eastern downhill spur off the main spine road.
