This is the 13.45 departure, calling at Reading, Didcot, Oxford and principal stations via Worcester to Hereford (due 18.25 - rather a slow journey). Hawksworth 'County' No. 1017 'County of Hereford' was built 3/46, has yet to receive its smokebox number-plate and later a double-chimney; it was withdrawn 12/62. The train is at Platform 1 with the locomotive out beside the extension leading to the parcels station.
