There is a primary school nearby, and this path was perhaps created with pupils' safety in mind. It leads for about 120 metres from Ross Loan, crosses a small footbridge over the Blairennich Burn (the footbridge can be seen ahead; the road bridge over the same burn is just to its right), and ends at a pedestrian crossing on the main road through the village, near the junction with Image
