The War Memorial in Weston Park

The war memorial in Weston Park was erected in 1922. On the top is a statue of the Roman goddess Victory (Greek goddess Nike). On either side of the base, there are sculptures of soldiers (actually university students who posed for the sculptor). See also Image] and Image Image] can be seen on the background.
