This is the bird variety of Kite, and is perched in a tree on the Playing Field in the centre of Chinnor village. This one stubbornly refused to turn round, so I offer only a rear view, though it nicely shows the distinctive forked tail of the bird. Red Kites have become very common in the Chinnor area, and may be heard calling and seen circling at all times of the day.
