Typical Edwardian Baroque bank building, though its octagonal tower is a cut above most. Pevsner picks out the contrast between its convex balconies and concave entablature. Built of Portland stone above a grey granite ground floor. By James F. Doyle, 1904. Grade II listed. Later a Barclays Bank, I'm not sure it was occupied when the photo was taken.
