Hidden away off Barwell Lane, behind high fences and firmly locked gates, is this former clay pit, home to the Hinckley Angling Club. According to a notice pinned near the gate, the pond reaches a depth of 18 feet, and is stocked with carp, perch, bream, rudd and tench.
