Described in Pevsner as a magnificent little church, one of the best preserved from the 12th century. The main (west) entrance here is surrounded with elaborate stone carving as are the windows above, although most of that is carefully-researched Victorian restoration work.The naturalistic carvings around the south door are even more exuberant.
