Footpath entrance to Rollestone Wood

Rollestone Wood is the largest of the seven woodlands in the Gleadless Valley. This lies only 2 miles south-east of Sheffield city centre and was until its development as a residential district in the 1950s and 60s, a rural area of hedge-lined fields and woodland.
