The name of the field according to East Hoathly's 1839 tithe map that has been turned into a number of smallholdings part of which includes a nursery cum car boot sales site, see Image The footpath to Halland Park Farm should pass through the ground between the trees and barn and whilst a couple of overgrown stiles can just about be made out there is no entrance from the A22, only a locked gate. Coupled with difficulty finding a turning off Image seems to suggest that the footpath may now run down the latter though there is no signage at either end indicating this.
