This church hall on Nottingham Road was opened in 1905 as an adjunct to the facilities at St Leodegarius' Church. The land had been given by Sir Charles Seely. It soon proved too small and two additional rooms were added in 1910. On 3rd March 1996 the Anglican Bishop of Southwell 'dedicated' the church hall thereby allowing it to be used for occasional services over a number of years. This particular end of Silverdale Road has been closed to traffic for safety reasons.
