One doesn't have to wander far from glitzy city-centre developments to find dereliction and abandonment. The stuccoed building, built as a furniture workshop and showrooms by Henry Sumners, dates from c1858 according to Pevsner, although 1887 is given at the top. Perhaps it was extended. To me it looks more 1850s than 1880s. The more recent building behind bears the legend "Europleasure International Ltd", which sounds both seedy and lucrative, though obviously insufficiently so. Disclaimer: I have no idea what went on here.
