The car park was fairly quiet on this day, but there was an event on which may have put people off trying to get here. The event was the Horncastle Summer Craft Market 2009. The special summer market celebrates local crafts and food. It also includes local bands, dancers and singers in addition to funfair and miniature railway rides. The High Street, Bull Ring, Bridge Street and the Market Place were closed for the duration of the event.
