Looking down from bridge 40. The Grand Union's main line, which passes to the south of Leamington's town centre, is a trunk route on the canal network connecting London and Birmingham. Commercial traffic ceased around the early 1970s - long after it had disappeared from most other canals - but the waterway has found a new lease of life for leisure cruising.
