The Neverland play area must be one of the most elaborate and imaginative children's play areas in existence. It has been inspired by the "Jolly Roger" which features in the "Peter Pan" writings of the author and dramatist JM Barrie (1860-1937) who was born and is buried in Kirriemuir.
